Our Team Sensory Traveller Holidays

Wow where to start with June? It’s been a hectic but very rewarding month for us all at Sensory Traveller. Not only have we been busy booking holidays, but we’ve also been out and about at some fantastic events.

It has been a long, exciting and rewarding journey! We have done a lot of amazing things; we got some wonderful properties on board, both within the UK and abroad, collaborated with fantastic facilitators for our leisure and self-development activities and met a lot of wonderful people along the way.

Gemma & Atma at the Awards Sensory Traveller Holidays

We were delighted when Sensory Traveller was nominated for the Award for Innovation in Tourism and Hospitality, and we were completely blown away to win, there were some amazing nominees and it was an honour to be chosen.

It was a real privilege to attend the awards ceremony at the Epic Centre on the Lincolnshire Showground. Gemma and Atma donned their most glamorous attire on behalf of the whole team, to accept the award. The fantastic event gave us a chance to see some familiar faces and also meet a variety of businesses in the area.

We were so proud to be up for an award but in all honestly didn’t quite believe we would be leaving with the trophy, it was a fantastic night and we would like to say a big thank you for everyone who voted for us.

Yoga at Lincoln College Sensory Traveller Holidays

Last week we joined with Lincoln College and Accessible businesses to celebrate Get Involved day. The day was very uplifting, informative and most of all fun. The community spirit was in full flow with a touching signed version of “This is Me”.

Meeting so many wonderful people was definitely the best bit, and our stall was inundated with visitors throughout the day. As part of the event we ran some taster accessible Yoga sessions. These sessions were designed to introduce students to Yoga and give them some takeaway skills that they can use to help increase their well-being skills.

Thank you to all those who have joined us on our journey through June.

We are all very much looking forward to July!
